Learn & Experience

Carol has been practicing yoga for more than 40 years and her teaching is rooted in a profound trust in the body and its wisdom. She encourages students to begin where they are, connect body and mind through the breath, practice with a light heart and have fun! She goes beyond teaching poses to teaching people.

A graduate of yoga teacher training programs with Esther Myers (author of “Yoga and You”) and Nischala Joy Devi (author of “The Healing Power of Yoga”), Carol has studied with numerous senior teachers representing a broad range of Yoga traditions. Her style is a vibrant blend of elements drawn from these varied practices with emphasis on grounding the body, lengthening the spine and cultivating the breath.
